Our History

Hi, my name is Cris and I created Red Velvet DJ in 2014! I started to learn how to DJ at the age of 11 (1996). In my early 20's I transitioned to DJ-ing at various clubs & lounges throughout the Chicagoland area. (Where I grew up and lived until 2019) Some of them include Dragonfly, Bella Lounge, Republic, Wet, Waterhouse, and Rebel in Wrigleyville. I have focused primarily on weddings since 2011. My open format mixing style is very diverse, so I am able to blend all genres of music together! Currently loving our home city of Temecula with my wife, 2 children, and 2 dogs. My interests include football & basketball (Bears & Bulls fan for life lol), wine, long walks, and vacuuming around the house. =)
